Mouthpiece Insertion Technique
Isolite mouthpiece insertion is easy-to-learn and takes only seconds. But like any good technique, practice is the key to success. Practice on staff before using procedurally.
Isolite makes technique a quick study
Patient comfort is paramount! The creators of Isolite want you and your patients to experience the same exponential increase in patient comfort that practicing dentists all over the nation are now experiencing with Isolite.
Every good professional develops his or her own particular techniques to best perform dental procedures. The creators of Isolite recommend that practitioners employ the following three steps on three test patients to familiarize themselves with handing and insertion the flexible mouthpiece.
Step 1
Attach mouthpiece to Isolite tube
Step 2
Align Bite Block at 1st or 2nd bicuspid area keeping Cheek Shield outside the mouth.
Step 3
Place Isthmus behind maxillary tuberosity. Position Cheek Shield in buccal vestibule
JP Hughes, DDS
"I positioned the mouthpiece in my own mouth first and was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the bite block and tongue shield made me feel. After three test patients, I was totally sold. My patients are much more relaxed and I cannot believe how better visibility has decreased procedure time and reduced stress."
